Silver Canon Digital IXUS 400 compact camera, front view with lens extended

Canon IXUS-400

2003 · 4MP

2024 – present

A camera my dad bought in 2003 to document my early childhood. This man never misses with technology. Found it in a cupboard in 2024 and started using it. This small CCD sensor is magic. Almost all the photos on this website were taken with this camera and I hope that tells enough. I take this camera everywhere with me now.

Black Sony α6400 mirrorless camera body with flip-up screen tilted forward

Sony α6400

2019 · 24.2MP

2025 – present

A very good camera I use for art and professional work. I am more than happy with the photos and low light performance. Video could be better, so I'm striving for a better camera, but this is an important stepping stone in my photography / videography journey, and I don't think I'll ever have the heart to part with this camera.

Sony DCR-HC35 MiniDV camcorder on a desk with its LCD screen flipped open

Sony DCR-HC35

2004 · MiniDV camcorder

2024 – present

Dad's old camcorder, also bought to document my early life. The videos it produces are instantly nostalgic. One battery is about enough to fill a 60 minute cassette throughout the day and I have documented a few important events in my life with it.

Black Sony NEX-6 mirrorless camera with 16-50mm kit lens attached

Sony NEX-6

2012 · 16.1MP

2023 – 2025

My first "real" camera. You may have guessed it, also bought by my dad, also to document my childhood. Since his Canon bridge camera broke down, he settled for an interchangeable lens camera "just in case" and this was it. Sony's finest in 2013. In early 2023, he convinced me to use this camera instead of taking pictures with my phone. I was very hesitant, but in the end I gave in. Best decision of my life. This camera has survived a lot, and I have photographed most of the 2024/2025 student protests with it. Some of my favourite pictures and videos I have ever taken come from this camera.

Blue Nikon Coolpix S30 waterproof compact camera

Nikon Coolpix S30

2006 · 6MP

2012 – 2025

The first camera I have ever owned. My aunt bought it for me around 2012/2013. A very fun camera with very fun features. It was waterproof and we brought it to almost every vacation we went on. It had fun functions such as adding fancy frames around photos, starbursts, and so on. It sadly got lost in a river near Bajina Bašta when my friend accidentally flipped our boat over and it sank. I am still sad when I think about it. There are no modern equivalents of this camera which just shows how special it was.

Black TTartisan 25mm f/2 manual pancake lens, front view

TTartisan 25mm

2025 – present

Pancake lens I bought only because with it, my camera can fit inside my skiing jacket. I still haven't gone skiing since. Cool lens though.

Black Sigma 17-40mm f/1.8 DC Art zoom lens

Sigma 17-40

2025 – present

The moment this lens came out, I knew I had to own it and never settle for less. Took a gig during the summer and made enough to afford it. It almost never leaves my camera.

Black 7Artisans 7.5mm f/2.8 fisheye lens with petal hood

7Artisans 7.5mm fisheye

2023 – present

This lens takes some incredibly hard pics. Was relatively cheap too. Very fun.

Black Sony E PZ 18-105mm f/4 G OSS power zoom lens

Sony 18-105

2023 – present

The first lens I bought. After extensive research, this was the only viable option on the market. Stabilisation, power zoom, constant f/4 aperture, large range. If I have to take only one lens somewhere, it's this one. The Sigma beats it in the dark by a landslide, but this is the safer option.

Black Sony E PZ 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS compact kit lens

Sony 16-50

2023 – 2023

The lens that came with the camera. Served me well enough for long enough. Zoom is okay, has stabilisation and power zoom, but lacks aperture and sharpness.

White Nothing Phone 4(a) rear view showing transparent back and dual camera

Nothing Phone 4(a)

2026 – present

Just bought it, might review it later.

White Samsung Galaxy S22+ front and back view with triple camera

Samsung S22+

2022 – 2026

The phone I have been using for the last 4 years. A noticeable downgrade from the S10, but still a very fond device I will cherish. Moon photos are amazing (AND NOT AI!). Feels good in the hand and has a screen of very high quality. I could talk for hours why it's a good device.

Blue Samsung Galaxy S10 front and back view with triple camera

Samsung S10

2019 – 2022

My first flagship phone and my favourite I have ever used. It had two-day battery, amazing cameras, a headphone jack, a pulse and blood oxygen sensor, expandable storage, an amazing display for its time... This was truly Samsung's peak. I'd kill for this form factor to be refreshed with a 120hz display and bigger battery.

White Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) showing home screen

Samsung J5 (2016)

2017 – 2019

I used this phone through the second half of primary school. It was okay, with a single speaker on the back of it, a flash for the selfie camera (WHAT) and, most importantly, a home button. I have hated the removal of the home button ever since it started happening, and this was the only device in a reasonable price range that offered me the luxury of it.

Red Samsung Galaxy S3 front and back view with brushed metal finish

Samsung S3 (red)

2014 – 2017

My first android phone. My dad rooted this phone before giving it to me and heavily modded it. I don't remember much about it, but it could play Asphalt 8, That Level Again, and Head Soccer. That was all that mattered.

Original iPhone held in a hand, showing the home screen with app icons

iPhone

2012 – 2014

The original iPhone, and my first phone. I was the third or fourth owner of this device and I couldn't have been happier. It was jailbroken with Cydia (had no idea what that meant). Most memorable games from this phone were Castle of Magic, ALL the Angry Birds, ALL Talking Tom clones, and a weird app that I remember very vividly, eRanKings. I have been trying for years but could not find any footage or info about it online.

Silver Nothing Headphone (1) over-ear headphones with transparent ear cup design

Nothing Headphone (1)

2025 – present

The design reeled me in, but man are they good. Comfortable, long battery, great noise cancellation and physical buttons instead of touch controls. Chef's kiss.

reMarkable Paper Pro e-ink tablet with stylus, showing handwritten notes on screen

Remarkable Paper Pro

2025 – present

A tablet my dad bought me for my birthday, to use for university. Apart from university uses, because of this eink tablet I have started journaling and reading comics, which I enjoy very much.
